Years ago, I started making calligraphy envelope liners out of cardboard with an exacto knife, to write in straight lines on dark envelopes without having to make pencil marks. They never lasted long because they would rip, or get wet from ink and distort. About 6 years ago, I decided to have them professionally made out of plastic, and they have proven to be a huge time saver. I'm now offering them for others to use. A must-have for every calligrapher. Included are two different sizes that you an use on any size envelope. - Set of 2 - Ultra-thin plastic - Made locally
We're teaming up with Swell Press for a super fun workshop and holiday market! It's our first in-person workshop since 2020, and we are so excited to be back! This workshop is longer and more comprehensive than most other workshops out there- we really take our time to master using a pointed pen and there is lots of opportunity for one-on-one feedback and instruction. And there will be snacks and drinks! What more can you ask for?!In the Beginner Workshop we learn the basics of pointed pen calligraphy. I truly believe that learning a simple, classic script forms the basis to all other calligraphy - modern calligraphy, your own unique style, etc, so to me, it is the #1 most important thing to work on, whether you are a true beginner, or even if you have a little experience under your belt. These are always such fun days and would be perfect for a birthday get-together, a bachelorette party activity, a girl's day out, or just a unique thing to do! We are also adding a holiday market with ARC+D products, Swell Press products, and more for all of your holiday gifting needs. Beginner Workshop Sunday, December 11, 10 AM - 1:30 PM Redondo Beach, CA $200 You'll receive a package of beginner materials including nibs, nib holders, paper, and ink. Space is very limited, so sign up asap.
